About Us

At Manx Lavender, we take immense pride in our commitment to nurturing over 5000 lavender plants across 2.5 acres of scenic landscape on the Isle of Man. Our lavender fields flourish with seven distinct lavender varieties, each with its own unique beauty and therapeutic qualities.

 

We never test on animals or knowingly use any materials or products that have been tested on animals. We are registered food producers and only ever use free range eggs. Our milk comes from a local dairy and several of our fields are used to grow the fodder for the dairy cows. Our weeding team are our lovely sheep! Currently Erin, Clare and James but watch this space for some wonderful news on the weeding team soon.

There are 10 beehives on site and lavender honey is truly special. The hives are situated between the 300 tree cider apple orchard and the lavender field and the honey is a gorgeous combination of lavender and apple blosson.

Hidcote: Known for its deep purple blooms, Hidcote lavender boasts a rich, sweet fragrance that's perfect for soothing and aromatic products.

Munstead: With its compact growth and vibrant purple flowers, Munstead lavender is a favorite for its exceptional fragrance and calming properties.

Grosso: Grosso lavender, characterized by its striking violet spikes, is prized for its high oil content and classic fragrance, making it an ideal choice for essential oil extraction.

Rosea: Lavender Rosea stands out with its delicate pink blooms and a subtle, sweet scent, it's spring freshness inspired our 'In the Pink' product range.

Arctic Snow: This unique variety offers beautiful white lavender blooms, delivering a fragrance that brings early summer days to mind, a rosea and arctic snow mix is the perfect flower girl posy.

Victory: Victory French lavender, with its vibrant hue and robust fragrance, contributes a bold, invigorating essence to our products. 

Phenomenal: True to its name, Phenomenal lavender is celebrated for its hardiness, beauty and fresh, clean scent, making it a wonderful choice for lavender-infused creations.

Our essential oil still goes to work in May and carries on until the last harvest in mid August, we create beautiful products. Our essential oil is for sale and we use it ourselves to create beautiful soaps, moisturisers, hydrosols, massage oils, candles, shortbread and chocolates. Our lavender, Bay leaf, mint and sage hydrosol is called Manx Meadow Mist and it brings a summer meadow right into your living room. Did you know that not all lavenders are calming? Some are stimulating and our ManxMan soap and shaving balm range will get you off to an amazingly fresh start in the morning
