The lavender is hand-bundled in the lavender field. A bundle contains the blooms from one specific lavender plant.
Our lavender is grown, harvested and dried here on our family farm in the Isle of Man. This year's crop has been hung to dry in individual bundles, leaving plenty of room for air to circulate between the bundles for a beautiful end result. We have also experimented with screen drying with excellent results. We never use fertilisers or sprays on our lavender, just naturally sandy soil and an abundance of sleepy bees.
